Consultations
Book a consultation with me, a trusted psychiatrist committed to understanding your mental health needs and providing personalized care. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or other challenges, take the first step toward a healthier, more balanced life in a compassionate and supportive environment.
General Information
First Consultation
The initial consultation is a comprehensive session lasting 90 minutes. This extended time allows for an in-depth exploration of your personal history, current concerns, and any past mental health experiences. The goal of this appointment is to understand not only the challenges you’re facing but also your individual strengths and needs. Once a thorough assessment has been conducted, I will discuss a range of treatment options with you. Together, we’ll create a tailored care plan that may include medication, supportive counselling, family involvement, or other medical investigations, all aimed at providing holistic support. These may be done in-person or virtually.
Follow-Up Consultations
Follow-up sessions typically are 30 minutes and are designed to support ongoing progress and address any new or evolving concerns. These consultations include medication reviews, therapeutic discussions, and personalised strategies for managing daily challenges. For many, the initial months of treatment can be a period of adjustment; regular follow-up sessions offer stability and support through this time. As treatment progresses and symptoms improve, follow-up appointments can be adjusted to meet your specific needs, moving to less frequent sessions as appropriate. These may be conducted in-person or virtually.
Medical Aid
I accept most medical aids. Please check with your provider for coverage details and let us know if you have specific questions about billing.
